Kathy Kmonk was destined for cake decorating. As a lifelong painter and artist, Kathy maintained a small tole painting business throughout the '90s and early 2000s. In 2006, after some unlikely road blocks, she translated her creativity to the sugar arts, and she became a decorator for a local cookie store. It was here that she realized both her passion and talent for creating tasty treats. She has since branched out to include cake and cupcake decorating in her repertoire, in addition to maintaining her cookie roots. Kathy has a deep desire to learn as much as she can about cake decoration, and loves to experiment to find the highest quality ingredients as well as best methods, flavors, and designs.
